Embracing the flow of the ride

There are moments when inspiration strikes, and you just have to let your creativity flow. Whether it’s sparked by a fresh track you haven’t heard in ages or a burst of ideas that need to be brought to life, these moments are golden. I asked the people at Via Ciclante if I could create a series of social media posts aimed at gravel rides.
The result was a captivating video reel that not only showcases my storytelling ability but also my passion for cycling. The reel features footage of me riding through a lush autumn forest, captured with a GoPro camera mounted on my handlebars. The vibrant fall leaves covering the ground create a picturesque backdrop, perfectly encapsulating the theme of the reel: to slow down and enjoy the ride.
This project was particularly fitting as it was created during gravel bike season, a time when many riders transition from their road bikes to embrace the rugged trails. The message is clear – it’s about taking a moment to breathe, appreciate the beauty around you, and savor the simplicity of the ride.
Working on this project allowed me to merge my love for cycling with my skills of crafting a narrative, producing a piece that resonates with the essence of Via Ciclante. It was a reminder that sometimes, the best ideas come when you slow down and let your creativity take the lead.
