Side project 2
There’s a moment—fleeting, suspended—where everything hangs in the balance. That’s where this visual lives, somewhere between the start and the end, caught in the dash that separates them. A figure, first sitting down in what could be defeat, and then falling—falling through the air, through time, through whatever lies between here and there.
What does it mean? Maybe that’s not the question to ask. It’s more about what isn’t said, what isn’t shown, the space between where you were and where you’re going. The dash, that thin line of transition, where things change but not quite yet, where the next step is as uncertain as the last.
A glimpse into the unknown, a snapshot of the in-between, where meaning is as fluid as the air through which the figure falls.
This is just the beginning, or maybe it’s the middle. There’s more to this story, but for now, it’s all about that dash—the time between the moments, the pause in the narrative, where things aren’t quite as clear as they seem.
So here’s a preview, a look at what happens in the in-between. The rest? Well, that’s for another time. For now, let’s just sit with the fall, with the dash, and see where it takes us.
(This project is still very much in development and ongoing. There is no link to preview yet. A further iteration of the original side project that I previewed here. More to come… There will be dogs.)
