Sunwing purchase path UI / UX
My work on Sunwing’s user interface and user experience (UI/UX) involved creating a suite of detailed and functional templates designed to enhance every step of the customer’s purchase path. Working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, I transformed static design files into dynamic, user-friendly templates that were later integrated into a custom WordPress theme by another developer.

- Selecting Additional Airport Services: A user-friendly interface for choosing extra services, ensuring customers could easily customize their travel experience.
- Cancelling Your Booking: A straightforward, no-nonsense template for customers needing to cancel their plans, complete with confirmation prompts.
- Vacation Checklist: Equipped with checkboxes and reminders, this template helped users keep track of important travel details, making sure nothing was left behind.
- Price Confirmation Page: Clearly presented pricing information, allowing users to review and confirm costs before proceeding.
- Location Destination Details: Detailed pages offering comprehensive information about vacation destinations, helping customers make informed decisions.
- Account Sign-Up/Login: Templates for creating and accessing accounts, with features like flight status checks and profile management.
- Travel Insurance Upgrades: A streamlined interface for selecting and upgrading travel insurance, ensuring users could easily add essential coverage.
- Payment Form: A secure and efficient payment process, designed with clear input fields and validation checks.
- Shopping Cart Breakdown: A detailed summary of selected items and services, helping customers review their purchases before finalizing.
- Special Assistance Form: A dedicated page for requesting special assistance, ensuring that all travelers’ needs were accommodated.
- Seat Selection Page: A complex yet intuitive seat selection template, entirely designed in CSS. This page featured interactive elements like hover-over seat details, premium and occupied seats, and highlighted selected seats.
- Vacation Overview Page: A comprehensive summary of all selections and requests, giving users a final look at their entire vacation package.
- Hotel Room Upgrade Options: An easy-to-navigate template for upgrading hotel rooms, complete with visuals and pricing information.
- Credit Card Validation Check: A robust form for validating credit card information, ensuring secure transactions.

Each of these templates was carefully crafted to provide a seamless and intuitive experience for Sunwing’s customers. By focusing on user-centric design and ensuring consistency across all elements, I was able to create a cohesive set of templates that not only looked great but also worked flawlessly.
This project was a deep dive into the intricacies of UI/UX design, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of user needs. The templates I developed played a crucial role in the customer’s journey, from the initial sign-up to the final confirmation of their vacation plans. It was a valuable experience to see these designs come to life and contribute to a smoother, more enjoyable booking experience for Sunwing’s customers.
