Ropin’ in a new look for Wrangler
Howdy, partners! When it came time to give the Wrangler jeans website a fresh new look, they called on ol’ me to get the job done right. My task was to take a static design and wrangle it into a workin’ HTML, CSS, and Javascript template fit for a WordPress theme.
I started by saddlin’ up to that static design, takin’ in all the details like a cowboy eyein’ a wild stallion. With a steady hand and a keen eye, I transformed them designs into clean, responsive HTML. Next, I lassoed in some CSS, dressin’ up the site so it looked sharp and stylish, just like a pair of Wrangler jeans on a Friday night.
But a good cowboy knows it ain’t all about looks. You gotta have some substance, too. That’s where the JavaScript came in. I added in some dynamic features, making sure the site ran smoother than a well-oiled six-shooter. Interactive elements, seamless transitions, and a user experience that felt as easy as ridin’ a gentle mare through a wide-open prairie.
Once the template was all set, it was ready to be used for a WordPress theme. This here setup makes it easy for the folks over at Wrangler to update and manage their content without needin’ to call in the cavalry every time they wanna make a change. They can add new posts, update products, and keep the site lookin’ as fresh as a spring morning in the countryside.
In this digital rodeo, my role was to convert a static design into a full-fledged, rootin’-tootin’ HTML/CSS/JavaScript template, ready for WordPress. It’s a prime example of how a little bit of cowboy ingenuity and know-how can turn a simple design into a functional, user-friendly website.
